Holland Dahlia Event
From 28 to 30 August 2026, the Bollenstreek will be fully dedicated to the Holland Dahlia Event. This is the moment when growers, breeders, exporters and flower lovers come together in the heart of Dutch dahlia cultivation, the area between Leiden and Haarlem.
This event showcases the dahlia in all its facets. Whether it is the latest trends in landscaping, innovations for retail (as cut flowers or in pots), or the development of completely new colours and shapes by breeders: here you will find the complete overview.
During the event, numerous companies open their doors. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to admire the full range in bloom, both outdoors on the vast fields and indoors presented on vases.

The '365 days of flowers' campaign is an initiative of the promotion committee 365 days of flowers, part of Royal FloraHolland. Over 1,800 growers from 15 different countries make this possible. They grow over 150 different flowers, which are promoted throughout the year based on Royal FloraHolland's availability dates. The objective of the '365 days of flowers' campaign is to jointly develop sales opportunities for florists.
