Clematis

The Celmatis, also known as Woodland Vine, is a fantastic climbing plant with striking flowers. Clematis was introduced 15 years ago as a cut flower. Since 2018, Clematis has also been on the market as fluff: soft and with a silver glow. In nature, fuzzes appear at the end of the growing season. Each fluff is a spent flower, or seed pod. The seeds can be dispersed with the wind; the fluff increases its floating ability. But the grower of cutting Clematis has already harvested the fluff before then!

Determining the right harvest time listens closely. Because the plant sends all its energy to the seeds, leaf colour deteriorates quickly. So before then, the lint should be harvested. Then you will have beautiful lint with firm leaves and green stems. Clematis fluff is widely used in wedding flower arrangements and drying bouquets. When you dry the fluff, it becomes softer and even fluffier. This flowering vine is also beautiful in garden bouquets.
