"I like to do things a little differently each time"

Roos van Unen, ‘Hemelse Bloemen’ in the Dutch city of Delft: “I enjoy creating beautiful bouquets every day. I'm also a true entrepreneur. Roos has identified a new trend, which keeps her increasingly busy in the shop.

“I'm preparing more and more monobouquets, bouquets with just one type of flower. By carefully designing the bouquets you can do more than just put together lots of different types of flowers, like you would do in a seasonal bouquet. Customers have to get used to it, but it does show that things can be done differently.”

The '365 days of flowers' campaign is an initiative of the promotion committee 365 days of flowers, part of Royal FloraHolland. Over 1,800 growers from 15 different countries make this possible. They grow over 150 different flowers, which are promoted throughout the year based on Royal FloraHolland's availability dates. The objective of the '365 days of flowers' campaign is to jointly develop sales opportunities for florists.
